Dr. Dan Snell will appear as writer and humorist Mark Twain (born Samuel Clemens). We will be entertained, enlightened, and get insights into Mark Twain's personal life. Hope you can join us!

Janey Merry, a wife, mother, and author, will be the speaker. She writes picture books, young adult, and romance. She’ll talk about her writing journey and how she used Kickstart to fund the launch of her first children’s book, Ready, Set, Sloth! Its companion book, Ready, Set, Color!, a whimsical activity book, became available February 15. It’s fresh off the press! For our February program, we will recognize the winners of the 2021 Galaxy contest by hearing the winning entries being read aloud. We will start with the first-place winners, then continue with as many other entries as time will allow. If you won any place, please bring your entries and prepare to be applauded! Our 2021 Contest Chair Hamp McCool will emcee the program. This program is free and open to the public, but because of the Covid surge, we will be on Zoom only.
