Shelley L. Levisay is an attorney, author, and musician. She practices criminal defense, tribal, juvenile, and appellate law and manages her own law firm in her hometown of Shawnee. She received her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in musical arts and political science andher J.D. from the University of Oklahoma (OU) in 2011. She was a prosecutor before starting her own firm in 2014. She recently received a Masters in Indigenous Peoples Law from OU.

Shelley writes legal thrillers and non-fiction works focused on true crime and victims’ rights issues. She is also the host of the podcast "Lawyers, Guns, and Money: Real Crimes, Real Trial Lawyers." The podcast focuses on Oklahoma death penalty cases and victims’ rights issues.  She is also a fur baby momma to Mayhem, Phantom, Shadow, Buster and Shelby.
