WHERE: Virtual, via Zoom (link provided to members and those interested in the program closer in time to the event. If you would like to be sent the link and are not currently on the list, please contact Cuethelight@cox.net).

WHEN: 10:00 a.m. on April 10, 2021

Galaxy member Mary Payne will facilitate our April program, where we will talk about our favorite books. "Many people have a special book they read over and over when life gets tough. We'd love to hear about yours! Please volunteer to tell us about it," Mary said.

The main presentation will center on how to promote your manuscript, even before it's ready to launch. As authors -- whether you're using a traditional publisher or publishing independently -- must do a lot of our own marketing, so find out what you can do to make your launch a success. Book bloggers (reviewers) are the new gatekeepers. You'll learn how to find them. And there's one easy thing you can do immediately that will help you in the future. Join us at the ZOOM meeting for details.

Mary Payne has a B.A. from Phillips University and an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma. She's the author of a two-volume set of books, Adoption's Hidden History. Her new website is https://www.marypayneauthor.com.
