At the Galaxy Meeting, Saturday, October 10, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., via Zoom, the featured speaker will be Rusty Williams. 

Rusty Williams is a professional writer-historian who writes about history through the stories of the people who lived it. His best-selling Red River Bridge War: A Texas-Oklahoma Border Battle (Texas A&M Press) won the Oklahoma Book Award (2017) and was named Outstanding Book on Oklahoma History (2017) by the Oklahoma Historical Society. Tracking the Texas Rangers (University of North Texas) will be released this fall, and Deadly Dallas: Gruesome Mayhem and Grisly Fatalities will be published in Summer 2021 by The History Press. Rusty is currently quarantined in Dallas, but he's proud of his Oklahoma roots.
