The Norman Galaxy of Writers had a great showing today at the OKC Writers contest!

THE NORMAN GALAXY OF WRITERS

MEETS 2nd Saturday MONTHLY

10 AM-noon

ALL MEETINGS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The club was founded in March 1969. It is affiliated with the Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc. (OWFI), a regional writers organization with members from six other states.

Membership is open to:

•Men and women in all stages of writing skills

•Creative writing students

•Self-published writers

•Published writers

•Full-time, professional writers

•Spouses and friends of writers

•All ages from teens to 90s and above!

Galaxy goals:

•Provide fellowship for writers.

•Promote writing and literary interest in the Norman area.

•Encourage literary talent and creative ability.

•Improve writing skills and techniques.
